MONTGOMERY, AL.  Jan. 30, 2012 ? According to General Motors' recently released rankings, Classic Buick GMC Cadillac in Montgomery outsold all other Buick GMC dealers in the state last year.  In General Motors' recently released sales rankings, the dealership was listed as both the number one GMC dealer and the number one Buick GMC dealer for the state of Alabama for 2011.  General Motors Buick GMC representative Jim Bright presented a framed copy of the two awards to Classic Buick GMC General Manager Dean Vette.

Mr. Vette praised the efforts of employees for sales achievement, saying, "I'm exceptionally proud of the whole team here at Classic Buick GMC Cadillac. Our sales force and finance staff put forth extraordinary effort to reach these sales goals. GMC Dealership Returning to Montgomery

August 28, 2010

MONTGOMERY, AL - After a two year absence in the Montgomery market, GMC is returning to the capital city. Classic Cadillac Buick has acquired the General Motors GMC franchise specializing in pickup trucks, sport-utility vehicles, vans, and crossovers and already has inventory available for sale. 

The name of the dealership will be changed to Classic Buick GMC Cadillac to reflect the addition of the new line. In addition to light duty pickups and SUVs, GMC also manufactures a full line of medium duty commercial trucks, vans, and chassis cab products with gasoline and diesel powertrains.

According to Dean Vette, the dealership's general manager, "Since the original GMC dealership closed a couple of years ago, a lot of customers have been left out in the cold so to speak.  There's an incredible local demand for GMC trucks and we're delighted to now be able to fill that need for the market. We've already got a number of GMC models on the ground for customers to choose from and we've got a couple of truckloads more on the way. Our service department is already geared up to service vehicles for current GMC owners as well as our future customers."

First, you will receive confirmation from our system that your request has been received and delivered to an Internet Manager who will be handling everything from your initial request all the way up to and even past the point of your purchase.

After your confirmation, we strive to supply you with the information you have requested in less than one hour, but in most cases you will receive an email and a phone call within 30 minutes during our regular business hours. You have asked us for information and we will make every attempt to contact you with the specific information you have asked for. You are not obligated in any way, and you can opt out of emails by clicking the "opt out" link included in all emails. You can also request not to be contacted by telephone if you choose.

OnStar Stolen Vehicle Slowdown Capability

Last fall, OnStar announced Stolen Vehicle Slowdown, a significant enhancement to its Stolen Vehicle Assistance service.  This new capability allows an OnStar Advisor, while working with authorities at the scene, to send a signal to remotely slow down a stolen vehicle to further aid in its safe recovery.

Beginning with 2009 model year production, over 1 million select GM vehicles will be equipped with the Stolen Vehicle Slowdown capability. As of 9/15/08 this capability is available for use in OnStar Stolen Vehicle Assistance situations.

Cadillac and Buick vehicles with this capability include:  Lucerne, DTS, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, SRX (excluding V6).  This excludes hybrids and diesels.
